The old hunter walked on. How many more days would he have like this? He didnt know. Did he care? hardly.
He hated himself. His whole life had been spent chasing after beasts of one kind or another. He wished he could stop, but whenever he couldn't. Monsters like the one who attacked his village were everywhere, still killing.
Well, for starters, thats not me up there. I'd guess Annie signed on as me.
Strictly speaking, "hunters" didn't carry swords. Or shields. You used those against other soldiers, or maybe dragons. But the guy looks old, and cool, and if he's hunting monsters it makes sense to some extent.
